Google Pay API makes online shopping easy and fast! How to set it up

After setting up the API, purchasers do not have to manually enter their information on your website.

Information such as name, email address, google pay payment gateway for website billing address, and shipping address are already pre-entered into the payment selection dialog box displayed to the buyer.

When the buyer selects a payment method, the API returns the payment information through a supported payment gateway or processes the transaction directly on an encrypted, secure server.

With the Google Pay API integration, you can provide a one-click settlement experience for the hundreds of millions of Google users who pay with credit or debit cards stored in their Google accounts.

Before you start implementing the API, make sure you have met the following prerequisites:

Use a certificate that requires TLS domain authentication to serve HTTPS pages. Add a payment management method to your Google account.

Before your Google Pay API is ready for production, you must register with Google, accept the Terms of Service, and receive a Google Merchant ID after your site has been approved by Google.

Before you can apply for official access, you need to meet the following requirements.

Google Account

A supported payment gateway or server environment that complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) (for storing decrypted payment information)

A fully qualified list of domains (including subdomains) from which you intend to call the Google Pay API.

When your site is approved, you will receive a google merchant id that must be included in every google pay api request.
